Position Overview

As a Customer Service Supervisor , you will be responsible for the daily supervision of a team of Customer Service Representative agents and assigned customer accounts and/or region of responsibility. You will train, coach, and mentor your employees on how to to deliver exceptional customer service.


  • Daily training, coaching, and mentoring your team(s) including attendance, policy compliance, scheduling of adequate coverage and discipline to ensure customer's requests and issues are addressed in a timely manner and that all department key performance indicators are met.

  • Build, maintain, and support relations with C&S account executives, field group, customer headquarter team members, customer district directors, and customer support representatives while fulfilling special requests from such members as appropriate.

  • Serve as the Customer and C&S Operational escalation point regarding customer needs and overall satisfaction concerns.

  • Participate, collaborate, and/or manage assigned new customer accounts/startup activities as appropriate.

  • Cover for Customer Service Leads and Customer Service Management as needed.

  • Provides weekend and ongoing coverage for escalated issues, as needed, in Customer Service. This includes having a company provided laptop and phone for accessibility by team members, other C&S employees, and customers, as needed.

  • Key point of contact for field operations and account management team.

  • Daily and weekly reporting both internally and externally.

  • Provide backup to incoming contacts, including answering phones, emails, portals, etc, as needed based on volume.

  • Travel to customer and other off site meetings as needed (ie. Quarterly meetings, star-ups, for training, etc.)


  • Bachelor Degree Preferred.

  • Minimum of 3-4 years customer service experience preferably with 1-2 year’s supervisory experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, leadership, and supervisory skills. Various metrics (KPI’s) and reporting.

  • A strong aptitude for personnel management and ability to present oneself in meetings to represent C&S in the most favorable light possible.

  • Basic computer processing knowledge (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); greater than average salesforce.com or CRM knowledge.
