SUMMARY

To provide support to new and existing work within the business line.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be able to perform all responsibilities of a UXO Technician 1 and 2.

• Supervise and perform the on-site demilitarization of MEC and handling of demolition materials and be able to prepare and explosive storage plan.

• Responsible for preparation and submittal of daily reports and conducting daily site safety briefings.

• Supervise UXO Team and related UXO operations. Inspect and certify and/or verify Material Potentially Presenting Explosive Hazard (MPPEH) for the presence of explosive safety hazards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a graduate of a military or other formal UXO training course of instruction or EOD Assistant courses by a certified Department of Defense training facility. Must meet the UXO Technician 3 requirements as promulgated by DDESB TP-18. Must be familiar with and have ability to carry out all job performance requirements in accordance with operational procedures. Typically will have more than 10 years UXO experience, including 5 years in a supervisory position.
