Role Summary:

The focus of this role is building relationships with key stakeholders with the customer organization to facilitate a customer focused development approach. The Clinical Analyst will work directly with this customer to gather requirements, and be the technical liaison between the software development team and the business customers

Essential Responsibilities:

Acts as the Product Owner within an Agile scrum team performing the following:

  • Manages Backlog specific to this customer needs

  • Meets with Customers to research user needs

  • Interprets the business needs and provides continuous updates on near term and long-term roadmap to the customer

  • Prepares User Requirements and translates requirements for Engineering

  • Creates mockups and prototypes associated with requirements

  • Re-iterate requirements definition with customer as needed discussion

  • Collaborates with Product Managers for the release and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases. Collaborates with Product Managers/TPMs to manage the backlog; continuously orders

  • Works with technical writers on documentation

  • Represents the project stakeholders throughout the process

  • Provides domain expertise during the acceptance testing process

  • Supports efforts on Early Readiness Testing (ERT) and Unreleased Product Testing (UPT)

  • Collaborates with User Experience Team on usability testing to ensure the right product is being produced for the customer

  • Collaborates with Product Managers for the release and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases.

  • Troubleshoots in support of issues that come up from Services Team

  • Collaborates with Product Manager to manage the backlog; continuously orders and prioritizes to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready.

  • Supports and participates in validation and verification efforts

  • Provides training on the product to other groups and may support training efforts with Customers

  • Builds a positive outcome focused relationship within a high-profile matrixes customer organization

  • Works closely with Product Management to understand the strategic roadmap and provides input.

  • Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs

  • Keeps current with industry trends and domain expertise Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, healthcare or related field

  • 2+ years’ experience in product management, product development, or related field

  • At least 1 year of project management experience including trouble shooting and complex problem solvingEligibility Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 30%

  • Chicago, Illinois office is strongly preferred location for this position. Desired Characteristics:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration

  • Degree and practice in a clinical cardiology discipline

  • Healthcare product/industry/technical acumen
