Responsibilities

Serves as Duty Manager performing as security officer for 800+ room, full service military hotel and Armed Forces Recreation Center (AFRC). Security is provided on a 24 hour 7 day a week basis. Is responsible for the employee entrance video management system and for internal hotel security. Maintains constant radio contact with management and hotel operator, to ensure immediate contact for resolution of security issues. Assist the Military Police and DoD Police in maintaining security throughout the AFRC property. Provides a full range of security services to guests, patrons and employees. Reviews daily activity and incident report and initiates proper action in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations. Coordinates with the Executive Committee for the appropriate course of action in response to an anticipated threat or situation.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. All qualification requirements must include experience performing duties equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level.

- Previous experience in security or law enforcement work is required OR possess BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university in a directly related field.
