Robert Half is pairing with a local organization to find a CFO for their growing management team. The CFO will work collaboratively with the CEO to lead, plan, organize, and direct the financial and fiscal management aspects of the organization in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and all relevant regulatory/governmental agencies. The CFO will guide the management team in planning, budgeting and monthly/year-end financial reporting. CFO Duties Responsibilities: Provides leadership in the development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of the policies and procedures on finance, accounting, tax planning, internal controls, and auditing. Directs the organization's financial planning, accounting, budgeting and forecasting as well as establishing/maintaining relationships with lending institutions and financial communities by performing the essential functions and responsibilities personally or through subordinate managers. Develops standards, policies, and procedures for all financial related operations and ensures efficiency and cost-effective resource utilization in all functions under charge.

Requirements: CFO Skills Qualifications: -Master's degree in accounting, finance, banking or business administration required -Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant preferred -Minimum of five years' experience in a senior level position with appropriate/equivalent industry experience -Minimum of five years' overall experience in accounting/financial management with increasing responsibilities -Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, internal accounting controls, taxation, investment, and treasury functions -Experience with contract laws, negotiation and change management and strategic planning and execution -Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems, and education/student accounting systems -Knowledge of risk management and insurance, purchasing and materials management -Knowledge of database and accounting computer application systems to supply the most accurate financial information.
