About the Position: You will serve as an Attorney-Adviser on the Special Staff of the Installation Management Command-Pacific Region located at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. You will perform duties under the general supervision of the Staff Judge Advocate, Installation Management Command.

- Provides legal advice on legal issues such as AR 15-6 investigations, fiscal law, procurement issues, labor and employment law, ethics, environmental law, FOIA and Privacy Act, civilian misconduct, international law, travel and transportation issues.
- Provides advice and support services to the IMCOM Pacific Region Director, staff, and subordinate garrisons (in coordination with the servicing SJA offices) throughout the Pacific Region.
- Serves as IMCOM Pacific Region's ethics counselor and is responsible for the ethics program and ethics training.
- Reviews financial disclosure filings for IMCOM Pacific Region personnel. Maintains effective liaison and ensure proper coordination with SJA's and legal subject matter experts in other legal offices in the Pacific Region.
- Ensure consistent and high quality legal advice and ensure proper consideration of all SOFA and international law issues.
Occasional travel - Temporary Duty (TDY) travel may be required approximately 10% of the time

Skill in advising senior officials and investigating officers on complex and often highly sensitive administrative investigations and inquiries

EDUCATION: An applicant must have successfully completed a full course of study in a school of law accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) and have the first professional law degree (LLB or JD).
BAR MEMBERSHIP:Applicant must currently be a member in good standing of the bar of a state, territory of the United States, District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have three or more years of professional legal experience, acquired after being admitted to the bar, commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the position. Graduation from an ABA-Accredited Law School in the top 25% of the class or an advanced law degree such as an LLM may substitute for one year of the required professional legal experience.
